# A simple technical report

This sample report demonstrates Markdown, code, and LaTeX equations. Replace it
with your own technical writing, or add more `.md` files to this directory.

## Overview

A useful report can follow a small structure:

1. State the problem.
2. Explain the method.
3. Present the results.

## A mathematical example

For observations $x_1, x_2, \ldots, x_n$, the sample mean is:

$$
\bar{x} = \frac{1}{n}\sum_{i=1}^{n} x_i.
$$

## A code example

def mean(values):
    return sum(values) / len(values)

print(mean([1, 2, 3, 4]))
```
